Conservation Northwest co-hosts wolverine conservation and backcountry skiing event at Snoqualmie Pass on Oct. 25

Join us with Cascades Wolverine Project and local ski guide Trevor Kostanich for a screening of Finding Gulo and a presentation about the future of ski touring and wolverine habitat in a changing climate.

You’re invited to join Conservation Northwest and partners at Snoqualmie Pass for a special screening of Finding Gulo, a 25-minute film from Cascades Wolverine Project produced by Wild Confluence and Wilder Studios with support from Conservation Northwest and Patagonia.

Local ski guide Trevor Kostanich will co-host the event and give a presentation about ski touring amongst wolverines in a changing climate across the Washington Cascades.

Follow backcountry ski guide Stephanie Williams and wildlife photographer David Moskowitz as they set out to document an elusive population of wolverines. Directed by Colin Arisman and Tyler Wilkinson-Ray, this short film celebrates the power of community science to protect endangered wildlife in the face of climate change.

All proceeds from this event will fund Cascades Wolverine Project’s next winter field season and allow them to continue their grassroots effort to support wolverine recovery across the North Cascades.
