Join us for Why Grizzly Bears? with filmmaker Chris Morgan!

With fewer than ten grizzly bears remaining in the North Cascades, the endangered grizzlies of north-central Washington and south-central British Columbia are the most at-risk bear population in North America today.
But there’s still hope to save this wild icon. And we’re organizing a big event to spread the word.
Since we launched the Friend of the North Cascades Grizzly Bear coalition in June, we’ve been joined by thousands of Individual Supporters and dozens of local businesses, non-profits and community groups calling for state and federal agencies to save the North Cascades grizzly bear before it’s too late. A public comment period coming this winter will likely decide the fate of these amazing animals in our region.
To build momentum, we’re organizing a big event in Seattle to make the case for those who may still be undecided.
Please join us on Thursday, October 20 at the Mountaineers Seattle Program Center for Why Grizzly Bears? with Chris Morgan, bear ecologist and award-winning film producer and TV host.
Tickets available at: whygrizzlybears.brownpapertickets.com
Tickets start at only $5, and include entry into an AWESOME RAFFLE with outdoor gear and other great prizes from Patagonia, Filson, Second Ascent, Cascade Endurance and Outdoor Research! Additional raffle tickets will be available for sale at the event for $5 each or five for $20, cash only.
And don’t miss: ICE COLD BEER AND CIDER will be available from Two Beers Brewing Company for $4 a can.
All proceeds from this event support grizzly bear conservation. A Question & Answer session will take place after Chris’s presentation. Staff from sponsor organizations and businesses will also be tabling onsite.
