Conservation Northwest’s Central Cascades Restoration Watershed Program is maximizing spring and is hosting multi-day volunteer planting events open to the general public. This restoration work will help establish native plants in recovering areas of the Greenwater River. We will be planting: Scoulers Willow (Salix scouleriana); Red Elderberry (Sambucus racemosa); Thimbleberry (Rubus parviflorus); Osoberry (Oemlaria cerasiformis); & Serviceberry (Amelanchier alnifolia). Please come prepared for rain or shine! We will have tools and gloves for volunteers. Bagged lunch, snacks and drink will be provided on site, but feel free to pack your own sack lunch. Please note, all kids 12 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Sign up here!
