David Moskowitz is back to give his popular “Living with Grizzly Bears” presentation—only this time, Spokane is the place to be to hear the biologist, photographer, and wildlife tracker talk about grizzly bear recovery and what it might mean for those of us who live, work and play in bear country!

Join us at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 20 at Gonzaga University to enjoy photos and stories from David’s work and travel across landscapes where bears roam. Learn about differences between grizzly bears and black bears, the crucial ecological role that bears play in the Northwest, and what safety measures to take in bear country.

David’s work as a biologist, photographer, author, and mountaineering and tracking instructor have brought him into close quarters with grizzly bears across the Pacific Northwest, in the U.S. and Canadian Rockies and in Alaska and central Europe. During the presentation he will explore both the changes that increasing grizzly bear populations may bring to our region’s ecosystems, as well as how we humans might need to adapt to their presence in some of our favorite outdoor haunts.
