This critical bill would modernize how we as a country fund wildlife conservation.
The Recovering America’s Wildlife Act (H.R. 3742) was reintroduced in Congress on Friday, July 12, with co-sponsorship from Washington’s Members of Congress Representative Suzan DelBene and Representative Derek Kilmer.
Conservation Northwest shared the following statement in response to this important legislation:
“This is a critical bill that would modernize how we as a country fund wildlife conservation, allowing protection of species and habitats that are being overlooked now, even here in Washington state,” said Mitch Friedman, Conservation Northwest Executive Director. “We’re delighted to have the leadership of Representatives Derek Kilmer and Suzan DelBene as co-sponsors, and hope the entire Washington delegation will sign onto this bipartisan, common sense, solution.”
