From the Ground Up: Policy Informed by Practice
Published in 2025, the Washington Habitat Connectivity Action Plan (WAHCAP) is a roadmap showing where to invest connectivity actions across the state.
This meeting brings partners together to coordinate how and when to best implement WAHCAP strategies (transportation infrastructure, public lands and habitat, private lands incentives, land use planning, and Indigenous-led stewardship), and how to support agencies, partners, and Tribes in their work to reconnect big-landscapes across Washington state and beyond.
