Give Back to the Public Lands You Love
Celebrate National Public Lands Day by volunteering on some of the most iconic trails and recreation areas near Seattle. Join the Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust and our partners on Saturday, September 26, 2026 for a morning of trail work and habitat restoration in the Middle Fork Snoqualmie Valley, located near North Bend about one hour east of Seattle and one hour west of Cle Elum.
Whether you’re an experienced volunteer or trying trail work for the first time, there’s a project for every skill level.
Event Details
Saturday, September 26, 2026
Trail Work: 9 a.m. – Noon (multiple locations)
Followed by a Cheers for Volunteers celebration at Tanner Landing Park in North Bend
Work parties will include cleaning up picnic sites, picking up trash, and cutting back encroaching vegetation at the following locations:
- Little Si Trailhead
- Mine Creek Day Use Area
- Pratt River Bar Trail
- Camp Brown Day Use Area
- Middle Fork Trailhead
